Madras varsity launches book on recent trends in science and technology

The Department of Theoretical Physics of the University of Madras launched a book, Recent trends in science and technology.

The book includes many newly coined scientific terms in Tamil, not available at research level. It features a comprehensive collection of research articles covering domains of cutting-edge scientific research, with reflections on latest advancements and trends across multiple fields.

A. Sivathanu Pillai, known as the father of BrahMos, launched the book at the Dr. Alagappa Rammohan Endowment Lecture held at the University on Wednesday. He also delivered the endowment lecture. Meenakshi Alagappa Rammohan received the first copy of the book.

Rita John, head of the Theoretical Physics department, was the convenor of the conference.
