Fatima Mata National College Learner Support Centre, under the Kollam Regional Centre, emerged overall champions in the first athletic meet of Sree Narayanaguru Open University (SGOU) that concluded at Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday. In a closely contested series of events at the Thiruvananthapuram University Stadium, Ernakulam Maharaja’s College LSC and Malappuram Munduparamba Government College LSC came in the second and third positions. Finance Minister K N Balagagopal inaugurated the closing ceremony while Food and Civil Supplies Minister G.R. Anil presided over the function.
