Govt. employees stage protest in Raibag

Members of Karnataka State Employees Association and Revenue Department employees staged a protest in Raibag recently, against threats issued to Tahsildar Suresh Munje.

Association taluk president Umesh Pol said that some farmers leaders locked up the Tahsildar office door for a few hours and abused Mr. Munje recently.

The leaders insulted the officer and threatened him, though he was carrying out his duties according to rules. They submitted a memorandum to Tahsildar Parimala Deshpande and sought action against the offenders.
